Hibernation Is EndingSaturday, 30 March 2013
Hi everybody,
Hibernation is about to end. Back in Europe I found my way back on stage. On the 20th of March I will perform in a Duo setting at Jakobshof in Aachen with the outstanding Benedikt Jahnel on piano. ( http://www.jakobshof.de ) The week after I will move to Berlin. I am looking forward to what this year will bring. I am working on the release of my third album featuring Rich Perry, Anthony Pinciotti, Gordon Au and Victor Gould. Beyond, I'll strive to give all those shapeshifters and music researchers out there a home in the capital of Germany. |

In history and at present, there exists a remarkable number of examples of mutually enriching exchange between both cultures.
All participating exhibitors and contributors stand for cross-cultural cooperation, creation and construction. AUDI, the SoHo team of Munich-based internationally acclaimed light designer Ingo Maurer, Neue Galerie’s Cafe Sabarsky, and last but not least of course a Jazz quartet consisting of 2 musicians from Bavaria, and 2 from America. There will be Florian Hoefner on piano, Nick Anderson on drums, myself on bass, and since Rich caught a flu, Gordon Au on trumpet. As a set opener we will play Gertrude’s Bounce by Clifford Brown. This event is by invitation only, but beyond this evening there will be plenty of opportunity to feel, see, hear or taste Bavarians interact with Americans in New York as much as Munich or Berlin or Barcelona or .... |
